Airless Tires by NASA
« on: November 29, 2017, 02:46:19 PM »
What do you guys think of this? I don't think it'll do good in Philippine mud haha!

SSR-G, do you know anything about this?

But He (Jesus Christ) said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you,
for my power is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore
I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses,
so that Christ's power may rest on me. -- 2 Corinthians 12:9

no idea on this. but it's cool! it was used before as armor against swords so if designed and built right, then it should be effective against sharp rocks!

i wonder how it retains its shape though. perhaps there's some kind of flexible internal reinforcement

I think they mentioned it in the video, how it retains its shape.

it was mentioned that the material used has shape memory. I wonder how long can it retain it's shape, especially when worn out when used here, under our "EDSA" road conditions.
