Attention X Trail owners 4x4 and 4x2, and other interested parties.

Nissan Motor Philippines is opening its SUV School, a driving clinc on how to properly and safely drive and maximize the unique and capable qualities of the Nissan X trail. The school is located NMPI's manufacturing facility in Sta Rosa, Laguna.

Interested parties may contact your local nissan dealership.

The school's off road track was recently constructed and features some very challenging obstacles that may appear unconquerable for vehicles in the "Cute Ute" category but be prepared to be surprised once the instructors guides you thru the track.

4x2 owners are encouraged to participate since a by pass route along the entire course was made for their vehicles.

The schools main thrust is safe operation and maximizing the "alteza" 4wd system unique to the X Trail.

Pics of the track to follow..........

after the offroad course, mark your turf on the wall with graffiti. from left to right, Ronald De Los Reyes, Ron De Los Reyes, umbrella man, and videocamera man Glenn -- from AutoReview. why the umbrellas? simple, it was raining.

Exactly Doc, get the cute ute's dirty and let them want more. some of the cute ute's are actually quite capable in the mild to moderate realm of off tarmac driving, properly driven and guided. Eventually this segment can form a wheeling club if they want and from there some members can move on to the more serious stuff if they want to.

The object of the school is safe and correct driving in off tarmac conditions. Anybody can enroll, all you have to do is go to your nearest Nissan dealer. the course is actually a variation of our basic 4x4 clinic we do in my training center in Tanay.

Thanks for the encouragement doc

We hope this kind of activity gets full media play up and manufacturers' support. Wonderful pitch for the hobby/sport and vehicle. Congrats WD!

Thanks DOC and Andoy, thats is really refreshing to hear instead of hearing that this should be so and so and blah blah blah.... We did the media day last friday, expect to read it on press releases and coverage of those who participated from the media this week. We are even considering to have "fun games" for all brand of CUV's ("cute ute's") later on.
